Make sure you use tools like Summize (now http://search.twitter.com) so you know when people are talking about you or things your interested in. Get the RSS feed for mentions of your company and if you’re cool, you get lots of Italian people’s tweets!

Sorry to plug, but this is related to this post.

I wrote an alternative to the Twitter Facebook app and TwitterSync – mostly because they weren’t working at the time – called Tweeter.

The twitter app works now, but, at least at this point, I believe mine offers a little more functionality including regex and keyword filtering, choice of status “prefix” and the ability to tweet from your facebook status.
